Created by Peaky Blinders’ Steven Knight, A Thousand Blows explores the brutal world of illegal boxing in 1880s Victorian London. Starring and executive produced by Stephen Graham, the series follows a young fighter caught in a deadly rivalry with a ruthless gang leader.

Music Supervisor Nick Angel says - “The music was largely 33RPM’s Federico Jusid’s amazing score. For the music from the time, I liaised with music historian and all round expert William Lyons about what would have been sung or performed, where, and how.

I should also add that he oversaw the productions of those songs once chosen, to make sure they had an authenticity to them.”

Additional music and arrangements were composed by 33RPM’s Jeremy Holland-Smith.
